Terms of use

Last updated: June 2026

By using this site and signing the petition or endorsing as a business, you agree to these terms.

The petition

This is a campaign petition in support of Oakleys Farm. Signing adds your name to a public show of support that we may present to the council, elected representatives and the press. It is a campaigning tool: signing does not guarantee any particular planning outcome or decision.

Accurate information

You agree to provide accurate details that are your own. Please sign only once, and do not submit anyone else's details without their permission. We confirm every signature by email and remove duplicates and entries that appear false.

Comments and content

If you leave a comment, you confirm it is your own words and not unlawful, abusive, defamatory or offensive. By choosing to display your comment you give us permission to show it publicly alongside your first name and area. We review comments and may decline or remove any at our discretion.

Business endorsements

If you endorse on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to do so and that the details are accurate. We review every endorsement before it appears publicly.

Acceptable use

You must not use this site to submit automated, bulk or fraudulent entries, to attempt to disrupt the service, or for any unlawful purpose. We use rate-limiting and other measures to protect the integrity of the petition.

Emailing the council

The "email the council" tool helps you write to the council in your own words. The message is sent from your own email account; we do not send it for you, and you are responsible for its content.

Liability

We provide this site in good faith and as-is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Privacy

Your data is handled in line with our privacy policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
